Situated in Mitte the shop is surrounded by edgy and artistic streets of Berlin, full of cafes and street life.

The Store is a den of detail and wonder, creating a travel experience for the customer coming into the shop.
Here you can discover our collections of shoes, bags, and a selection of jewellery, gloves and more in our own special MEHER KAKALIA WORLD.
We are so passionate about culture and craft that when we found out the shop is on the original site of the “Mulackritze” we were totally in awe. This was originally a restaurant where Berlin intellectuals in the 20s and actors Gustaf Gründgens, Marlene Dietrich and Claire Waldorf were regular guests.

The Mulackritze was closed in 1951 and demolished. Charlotte von Mahlsdorf rescued the interior and furnishings, transporting them in hand carts from Mulackstrasse to Mahlsdorf where they are now part of the Grunderzeit Museum.
A new building has taken this spot which is where we have our shop.
